Join us for a day at The Old Globe on Sunday, December 3! We'll enjoy an alfresco holiday brunch in the Craig Noel Garden, followed by a matinee performance of Ebenezer Scrooge’s BIG San Diego Christmas Show, written by beloved playwrights Gordon Greenberg and Steven Rosen. More holiday merriment after the show with cocktails at The Reading Club.

12:00 – 1.30 p.m.: Alfresco brunch in The Old Globe’s Craig Noel Garden

2:00 – 3:15 p.m.: Ebenezer Scrooge’s BIG San Diego Christmas Show in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe’s Conrad Prebys Theatre Center

3:30 p.m.: Holiday cocktails at The Reading Club following the show

San Diego has another show in its Christmas stocking with this fast, funny, and highly theatrical reimagining of one of the most beloved holiday stories ever told. All the traditional elements of Dickens’s A Christmas Carol are intact—including the iconic ghosts of Christmases Past, Present, and Future—but with a comic local twist. Audiences will cheer Ebenezer Scrooge’s rediscovery of the Christmas spirit in this riotous Dickens mash-up filled with music and laughter—all set in “wintery” San Diego.

Running time: One hour and 15 minutes. There is no intermission

For Ebenezer Scrooge’s BIG San Diego Christmas Show, children under the age of five are not permitted. Each individual attending the show must have a ticket for admission
