More on Student Matinees

The Old Globe is committed to making theatre that matters, including making it matter to more youth. Each year, thousands of students gain access to live theatre of the highest quality, as well as a greater appreciation for the art form through our Free Student Matinees (FSM) program.

For over 20 years, we have offered transportation and tickets at no cost as well as a free in-classroom pre-show workshop designed to enhance the theatre-going experience lead by our trained, professional Teaching Artists. They use an interactive approach to engage students in understanding the play and concepts of the theatrical production that meet Common Core Content Standards.

For more information, please email freestudentmatinees@TheOldGlobe.org.
