The popular 90-minute exploration of Shakespeare is back—with a First Folio twist—for two showings this summer. Led by Barry Edelstein, Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director of The Old Globe, this special edition of the program reveals the thrilling, mysterious, and altogether fascinating history of Shakespeare’s First Folio and what is has to offer modern-day audiences and performers. Based on Edelstein’s book Thinking Shakespeare: A How-To Guide for Student Actors, Directors, and Anyone Else Who Wants to Feel More Comfortable with the Bard, the program is a unique introduction to Shakespeare for families and young audiences as well as an exciting new look at the playwright for Bardophiles.
