Globe for All

The Old Globe Technical Center

Saturday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m.
5335 Market St., San Diego, 92114

The Old Globe Technical Center began operations in Southeast San Diego in 2007. The Globe’s technical and paint departments, staffed with anywhere from 13 to 35 crew members, build scenery in this 42,000 square-foot facility for all three Globe stages, often simultaneously. Regularly collaborating with some of the best designers in in the field, the Globe staff’s technical expertise is unsurpassed in the American theatre industry. This talented staff also gets to share it knowledge with the community through internship opportunities for San Diego students and expanding outreach programs.
