Globe Experiences are made available at the annual Globe Gala, but you can get a sneak preview here! These one-of-a-kind adventures are a way for you to contribute to The Old Globe and receive a special and most unique theatre experience that allows you - or a lucky recipient - to interact with Globe actors, artists and crew.

Enjoy a private, catered dinner for 30 on the main stage of the world-renowned Old Globe Theatre. Treat your party to a night to remember with a fully catered, three-course, seated dinner on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage of the Old Globe Theatre in the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Value-added experiences include private backstage tours, artistic presentations, thematic florals, linens and more!

Support the Globe's important student matinee program and help send a classroom of children to The Old Globe. Our student matinees help introduce the life-altering magic of theatre to youngsters who may not otherwise be exposed to it. Thanks to your donation, the Globe will be able to invite local students to see either our annual holiday classic, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, or, if you choose, one of our other student matinee performances in 2017. (2017 shows with student matinee performances include Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Red Velvet, Skeleton Crew, and The Old Man and the Old Moon.). You will receive naming recognition for this performance and you and a guest will be invited to attend this performance to witness first-hand as "your" students experience the joy of live theatre.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT), based in New York City, nurtures the creation of new and classic musicals and provides a forum for musical theatre professionals. Join a member of the Globe’s artistic/production team during NAMT’s exciting 28th Annual Festival of New Musicals, taking place in New York City on October 27 and 28. During this two-day, industry-exclusive event, you will enjoy 45-minute presentations of eight new musicals, a songwriter’s showcase and reception, as well as dinner with your Globe host. When the Festival has wrapped, enjoy two complimentary VIP tickets to a Broadway show of your choice (excluding premium seats).

In our fourth annual New Voices Festival on January 12-15, 2017, the Globe will present staged readings of exciting new plays by promising young playwrights. Plays and playwrights from this festival have gone on to be produced by the Globe in later seasons (2016’s The Last Match , 2017’s The Blameless). The author of this year’s tokyo fish story, Kimber Lee, was a featured playwright at the 2015 festival. You and your guests will be invited to meet all of the playwrights and enjoy VIP tickets for all onstage readings. Plus, you will be invited to the closing celebration dinner with the playwrights and Globe artistic staff on January 15, 2017.

The Globe’s Arts Engagement Department is making headlines for their incredible work in the community. You will experience first-hand this transformational experience when we take professional Shakespeare on the road to our neighbors across the County. Ride along with Director Freedome Bradley-Ballentine and his staff and teaching artists. Your day will begin with an on-site workshop that brings the world of Shakespeare to residents of our host community. Then enjoy a private lunch with Freedome and a Globe teaching artist before enjoying a performance of Measure for Measure featuring the talented students in the Globe/USD MFA program.
