This learning space for classroom teachers will offer an interactive tutorial on lesson plan design that highlights the essentials for building more authentic, relevant, and engaging activities to align with California Arts Standards. Suitable for all levels of learners – novice to experienced.
Marjorie Treger has extensive knowledge in the craft of teaching theatre, as well as designing standards-based curriculum for TK-12 students and professional learning opportunities for adult educators. With over 30 years of experience, she is currently the Theatre Resource Teacher for the San Diego Unified School District. She has also designed curriculum for the international platform, Digital Theatre Plus, as well as the San Diego County Office of Education and The California Arts Project. She believes in the power of theatre education to transform lives and build better humans. B.A. Theatre, University of California at San Diego; M.oT.S.
