Learning to Love the Jukebox Musical – A Musical Theatre Salon
Monday, October 1, 2018, 7:00 p.m.
Hattox Hall

To celebrate the world premiere of The Heart of Rock & Roll, The Old Globe will host Learning to Love the Jukebox Musical, a cabaret-style evening of songs produced in collaboration with the M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Program at San Diego State University. The program will explore the history of the jukebox musical (it’s older than you think!) with music from the Gershwin era to today, performed by students of one of the most highly acclaimed musical-theatre graduate programs in the nation. This event continues an ongoing series of musical theatre salons in conjunction with SDSU.
