Comedians

Brian Simpson is a stand-up comic who started out in San Diego and moved to West Hollywood to pursue his comedic dreams. After getting a big break on the “Kill Tony” show, he was quickly noticed by the world-famous Comedy Store, and soon after became a paid regular.

Lisa Gilbert started her stand-up career in her hometown of San Diego. Married late in life and now a wife and mother, she is a crowd favorite with her clean-comedy style and family-funny jokes. Her stories and ability to find humor in the everyday are perfect for every occasion.

Jason Cheny was born and raised in Taiwan and re-raised in America. He is the winner of The World Series of Comedy main event in Las Vegas, and he appeared on “Laughs” on Fox and Hulu and “Laff Tracks” on TruTV, pointing out human interaction through comedy, and bringing people closer together.

Em Allyn began performing in the Midwest before relocating to Southern California. A former San Diego resident, she now lives in Los Angeles.

Brandon Potter presents audiences with an eye-opening opportunity to momentarily live vicariously through the eyes of San Diego’s gayest comedian. Since 2013, he has been tackling controversial issues by putting his lovable, gay-boy-next-door spin with his nothing-off-limits approach, all while managing to find hilarity in the absurd.

Russell Brock is a Southern California–based stand-up comic with an incendiary style that combines social and political commentary wrapped up in a loud package made of obscure pop-culture references. A regular at The Comedy Store in La Jolla, he has opened for world-famous headliners such as Doug Stanhope, Tom Green, and Jeff Garlin.
