Our second annual Lunar New Year AXIS Event will take place on Monday, January 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on The Old Globe’s Copley Plaza! This family-friendly event will celebrate the start of the Year of the Rabbit with host Vietca Do, and with cultural performances by guest artists Nhu Y Nguyen, Sharon Choi, Southern Sea Dance Association, Lac Hong Vietnamese School, Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement, Hùng Sử Việt, and Three Treasures.

5:41 p.m. Lion dance presentation by Southern Sea
5:47 p.m. Traditional Vietnamese music performance by Lac Hong student
5:55 p.m. Cultural dance performance by Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement
6:01 p.m. Musical duet performance by Lac Hong students
6:06 p.m. Kid Hip hop dance performance by Lac Hong students
6:16 p.m. Traditional/pop Vietnamese music performance by singer Nhu Y Le
6:25 p.m. Fashion show demonstration by Hùng Sử Việt
6:39 p.m. Traditional and pop Korean music performance by singer Sharon Choi
6:50 p.m. Martial arts demonstration by Three Treasures (Kung Fu/Tai Chi, Lion dance workshop)
7:12 p.m. Adult cultural dance performance by Hùng Sử Việt
7:28 p.m. Dragon dance presentation by Southern Sea
