A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story, Told by Jefferson Mays

The Old Globe announced today that it will present Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story, Told by Jefferson Mays, A Thrilling Solo Rendition of the Holiday Classic by Jefferson Mays, Susan Lyons, and Michael Arden. Globe audiences will experience the timeless tale of Ebenezer Scrooge brought to life by Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays (Broadway’s I Am My Own Wife, Broadway and The Old Globe’s A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) and directed by the Globe’s Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein (The Old Globe’s Henry 6, Roundabout Theatre Company’s The Wanderers).

Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors Cast and Creative Announcement and Second Extension

The Old Globe is pleased to announce the full cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen and directed by Greenberg. The brilliant comedic team returns to the Globe following their wildly popular Ebenezer Scrooge’s BIG San Diego Christmas Show and Crime and Punishment, A Comedy. Due to popular demand, a second week has already been added to the performance schedule.

Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Returns

The Old Globe is pleased to begin the celebration of the holiday season by announcing that tickets are going on sale for the ever-popular San Diego yuletide tradition of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The 27th annual holiday production features award-winning actor Andrew Polec (The Old Globe’s Hair; Crime and Punishment, A Comedy).
