During construction of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, The Old Globe’s second stage productions will be produced in a specially built arena theatre, featuring the same intimate environment Cassius Carter audiences have cherished. The temporary Old Globe Arena at James S. Copley Auditorium is located just steps away from The Old Globe at the San Diego Museum of Art.
Lady Carolyn’s Pub is open in a temporary location during performances, just steps away across the plaza. After construction concludes, this area will be green again, and the pub will return to its permanent location with an expanded dining pavilion on the beautifully redesigned plaza.
