Valet Parking

Purchase convenient valet parking in the San Diego Zoo’s parking structure on Old Globe Way. We also provide shuttle service between the valet drop-off point and The Old Globe’s Copley Plaza for those who need additional assistance.

Valet parking spaces are limited and may be pre-purchased at the discounted rate of $22 online or by contacting our Ticket Services Department at (619) 234-5623 x1. Pre-reserved parking is available until 3:00 p.m. on the day of your performance, but we recommend making your reservation as soon as possible as spaces fill to capacity quickly. Oversized vehicles, such as sprinter vans, are not eligible for valet services due to height and length restrictions.

Alternately, you may drive up and purchase valet parking directly from the valets on-site (subject to availability) for $25 on the night of your performance. The valet opens two hours before evening showtimes and is open until 30 minutes after the evening’s final performance (or Post-Show Forum) concludes.

Our ticket office is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 noon until the last performance time.

Directions

When you turn from Park Boulevard onto Village Place to enter Balboa Park, continue going forward and follow the road past Spanish Village. Curve left and take an immediate right on Old Globe Way. Continue past the botanical building (on the left) and follow the fork in the road to the right. You’ll see “San Diego Zoo Employees Only” on your right side. Drop your car here and go up the hill by foot or via our tram to The Old Globe.

VIP Donor Valet

Valet parking for the parking structure is only available for evening performances. Parking is limited, subject to availability, and must be purchased in advance from the Old Globe Box Office. No same-day reservations will be taken. The Old Globe sells the valet service as a convenience to its guests, but neither the valet service nor the San Diego Zoo’s parking structure is owned or operated by The Old Globe. The Old Globe does not earn income from the parking fee and does not assume liability related to the use of the parking structure or valet service. There are no refunds. Available only in conjunction with ticket for the same evening’s performance.
