THE OLD GLOBE ENHANCES ITS ONLINE TICKETING SYSTEM WITH THE ADDITION OF “SELECT YOUR OWN SEAT” TECHNOLOGY
SAN DIEGO (April 1, 2010)—Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the addition of “Select Your Own Seat” capability to the Globe’s website. The new feature enhances the online ticket purchasing experience for Globe patrons and is currently active on the theater’s website at www.TheOldGlobe.org.
When purchasing tickets on the Globe’s website, patrons are able to select the exact seats they desire from a detailed seating map which is displayed from the perspective of the audience. Patrons may also select a “Best Available” option to display the best seats available in real-time.
The Old Globe is located in San Diego’s Balboa Park at 1363 Old Globe Way. There are numerous free parking lots available throughout the park. Valet parking is also available ($10). For additional parking information visit www.BalboaPark.org.
