Since 1955, Globe Guilders have played a critical role at The Old Globe, hosting events (including Globe Guilders Fashion Show), selling subscriptions, greeting and transporting artists, assisting in the Costume Shop, raising money and volunteering for the theatre.
Globe Guilders Objectives

- To Encourage Service by Members in the Various Volunteer Activities essential to the operation and growth of The Old Globe

Globe Guilders Fashion Show
The Globe Guilders Fashion Show raises much needed funds to support The Old Globe’s Education and Outreach Programs. This year’s Globe Guilders Fashion Show will be Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina. Presented by Neiman Marcus, the Fashion Show will feature designs by Naeem Kahn.
At the Globe Guilders Fashion Show, you will have the opportunity to bid on auction items including two business class round trip tickets on American Airlines to any American Airlines destination in Europe, excluding Italy and Spain travel; a luxurious Rancho La Puerta spa getaway and a 12 day Holland America cruise for two.
