Driving North

Take Interstate 5 North to the B Street exit. Turn left onto B Street, then right onto Park Blvd. Turn left onto President's Way and drive straight into Balboa Park.

Driving West

Take Interstate 8 to 163. Go south on 163 and exit at the I-5 South/Park Blvd. exit, and stay to the right for Park Blvd exit. Turn left onto Park Blvd. Turn left onto President's Way and drive straight into Balboa Park.

For handicapped drop-off or 10 minute ticket purchase.

From Park Blvd., turn on Village Place and drive into Balboa Park. Turn right onto Old Globe Way and continue until you meet the theatre. Patrons are permitted to park for a maximum of 10 minutes.

Parking Assistance

Parking is free in Balboa Park in various lots, including Alcazar lot (closest but fills up quickly), Organ Pavillion lot (best availability), as well as the Aerospace Museum and Hall of Champions lots. Most of these are within a 5-10 minute walk from the theatre. There are additional lots a bit further from the Globe (10-15 minute walk) around the Natural History Museum and the Ruben H. Fleet Science Center. Please click here for a map of Balboa Park indicating parking areas.

Courtesy parking attendants are stationed in Alcazar, Organ Pavilion and Village Place parking lots prior to all evening performances to assist you in finding parking and to answer any questions. They will remain in the lots during and immediately following the performance.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is available nightly beginning at 5 p.m. for a small fee in front of the
Japanese Friendship Garden. For more information, contact Sunset Parking Services
at (760) 753-4004.

The vehicles depart from Tram Central, next to the large parking lots near Inspiration Point (east of Park Boulevard at President's Way).
